Cardiff’s festive jog for charity

The people of Cardiff will dress as Santa for the jog to support the vital work of the British Heart Foundation

A fun run involving thousands of people dressed as Santa Claus is returning to Cardiff this December in aid of the British Heart Foundation.

The 5km route, which is set in Bute Park, is asking participants to raise money in sponsorship for the event and is hoping to make a total of £30,000 to ensure that the vital work of the UK’s leading heart charity can continue.

Event organiser Hannah Townsend said, “We are calling on the people of Cardiff to sign up to this fantastic event. Every participant will receive a free Santa suit, so get yourself into the Christmas spirit and take part.

“I guarantee people taking part will have fun so why not help us in the fight against heart disease.”
