The skiers and snowboarders of south Wales are being encouraged to slide their way down to Cardiff Ski and Snowboard Centre to try their hand at freestyle.

The Fairwater-based dry slope is hosting two nights of freestyle skiing and snowboarding on 13 and 20 November, with rails and jumps to suit everyone from novices to pros.

Freestyle expert Rob Taylor will be leading the sessions, and with eight years of experience, the GB half pipe skier is hoping to create a buzz around the sport ahead of the upcoming Winter Olympics.

Operations manager at the centre, Justin Pagington said, “Having someone of Rob’s calibre come down and run the sessions is not only going to be good for the centre, but for the local community too.”
