David Stone lectures in Cardiff

French magician David stone will be giving a lecture to the Cardiff Magical Society next month on magic tricks with cards, coins and varied objects for close-up conditions.

David Stone is a French actor, writer, producer and multi award winning magician who specializes in close-up magic and coin magic. He said “I am looking forward to the November tour, specially Cardiff as it has a great magic community”. For those who have been to a David Stone performance or lecture know that it will be a real show with dozens of gags and ideas for your own performances.

David discovered the art of magic at the age of 19 and won the French Championship the Diavol Grand Prix at 23. In 2003, the FFFF convention, the most prestigious gathering of close-up magicians in the world, voted David as the Most Valuable Performer.

After the amazing success of The Xperience Lecture tour in 2012 with over 183 lectures in 19 countries David will be giving a lecture on the 14 November 2016 in Cardiff.

Due to the nature of magic, the Cardiff Magical Society is quite secretive so you will need to be in the loop to be able to attend this event. Although knowing a member or having a genuine interest in magic can get you a ticket to the show.

The magic society was founded in 1954, at over 60 years old is well established in South Wales. Holding regular meetings twice a month, the group varies from beginners to professional magicians. The group describe themselves a social, non-profit making collection of individuals who share an interest in the magical and performing arts.
