Building starts on circus home

Contemporary circus NoFit State has begun work on a renovation for their new community home in Cardiff.

Bethan on site at Four Elms as building work kicks off

Four Elms, a church hall in Adamsdown, will undergo a 12-month transformation to provide training spaces as well as offices, meeting areas and storage space.

Cardiff Council, the Big Lottery Fund and the Welsh Government are among those helping fund the Four Elms project.

Development manager Bethan Gamble said, “The builders moved in last week so we are still at the early stages. It’s a great time to see the ‘before state’ of the building before it’s transformed!”

NoFit State have also launched the Raise the Rig campaign to raise £26,000 towards a purpose-built and removable trapeze rig that will be transferrable for the company’s tent performances.
