Gritty artist guest stars at mag launch

A top illustrator will be making a special appearance to help fire the launch of a new comic magazine.

Alan Stealth will be giving a presentation about his grey and gritty drawings to celebrate the first edition of Comic Cymru magazine, in which an interview with the artist is featured.

Comic Cymru showcases the work of local comic writers and illustrators based in Cardiff and the magazine’s launch party will be held in Face 11 at 5pm on 9 December.

Alan illustrated the front cover of the magazine. Comic Cymru covers are designed for fans to collect and display as posters.

Comic Cymru said, “We are thrilled to have Alan, as he is a great example of why local artists need a platform to showcase their work.

“We hope our magazine will keep fans up to date with the best local comics and events.”
