Radio station holds music awards

Radio Cardiff hosts Music Awards ceremony at the Coal Exchange

Radio Cardiff will host their third annual Music Awards this year. The awards ceremony will be held at the Coal Exchange on 3 December 2011. 

Awards will range from best band to favourite new presenter (for full list see right) and the night will be hosted by DJ Emski and Yusaf from the sports show. In addition to the ceremony, the night will feature music from several young local acts, swing band Imperfect Tenth and a performance from soul singer Kenny Thomas.

For those attending, the evening will also include food from Chef John Quill, a champagne reception and a chocolate fountain. 

Organiser and  DJ Jeremy Rees said, “ We expect the event to be a sell-out.” Tickets are £30.
