From Saturday December 17 to January 2 the Russian State Ballet and Orchestra of Siberia will be performing Tchaikovsky’s three classic ballets at Cardiff’s St David’s Hall.

Beginning with the Nutcracker, the highly acclaimed company will also be performing Sleeping Beauty and Swan Lake which, according to Sian James from the Cardiff Arts Council, will capture the hearts of audiences young and old.

“Modern adaptations of The Nutcracker, Sleeping Beauty and Swan Lake use much of the original choreography combined with present day revivals,” explains Sian. “The beauty of ballet is set to live on for many generations.”
