Schools dance in charity show

Special afternoon of dance performances raises money for Children in Need

St David’s Hall is the place to be for dance fans this Sunday

Local dance schools will join forces for a charity performance at St David’s Hall this Sunday to raise money for Children in Need.

The event features acts such as Dance Angels, Popstars and Jean England School of Dancing. There will also be a charity raffle and a guest appearance by Pudsey Bear.

Jenna Clemence, a full time mother, has been organising the event for six months.

She said, “I think it’s really good that all the dancing schools are taking time out to raise money for such a good charity.

“If this goes well, we’ll try it again for next Children in Need, and maybe Comic Relief. It gives young people an opportunity to dance on stage, which they might not have otherwise.”
