Spillers hosts Trust Fund album launch

Ellis Jones is a busy man. His latest project, Trust Fund, will perform at Spillers Records on 30 October to celebrate the release of his second album Seems Unfair on vinyl and digital download.

Seems Unfair is, in his own words, “About having fun in supermarkets.” Turnstile, the music label behind Trust Fund, has described the album as a “power-pop masterpiece”. On launching his album in Cardiff, Ellis said, “I really like Cardiff and Turnstile are based there so it makes sense. I’m playing a show at Spillers because it’s a cool shop and it’s nice to be there.”

Spillers frequently hold live acts; Mike Peters of The Alarm was here at the beginning of the month.
