A small restaurant serving up tradition

Opposite Cardiff castle is one of the capital’s newest restaurants. Run by Carole Pendry, with the aid of her son Nick, Seasons is a restaurant that boasts fine, home cooked, traditional Welsh food. The new establishment has also set itself up as quite spot to have a beer or cocktail in the evening. With its unique design including chandlers and an array of plant life, this cosy dinning place has quickly built up a buzz.

Carol described her surprise at how well the first few weeks of business had gone. “It has been great for tourists as we are right next to the castle. They can come in and enjoy some traditional Welsh home cooking” she says.

Regulars will begin to see a difference in the menu though the year as Carol plans to constantly change the dishes cooked. Corresponding to the different times for year she is currently finishing the Autumn menu.
