Indian street food comes to Cardiff

Multi-Award winning chef, Anand George, has set up a street food menu throughout October in pop up restaurant Ten Maryport.

Mr George has taken advantage of the recent street food craze, despite already being the chef patron of local restaurant, Purple Poppadum.

“We’ve still got a market for that, but there’s a new market that we can look into,” Mr George said, “Cardiff has changed, the market has changed, people’s spending habits have changed and at the moment everyone are looking for very much value for money.”

He added, “It’s basically trying to bring what I’ve seen back home in India, but bringing in a little bit more finesse.”

After enjoying success, Mr George said that he’ll definitely be planning similar events in the future.
