Pop-up brings Greek street food tradition

With the arrival of Street Food Cardiff has come an opportunity for pop-ups to fill the gaps in Cardiff’s food market, which is exactly what Meat and Greek has done.

The family run business began with an appearance at Pop Up Cardiff serving traditional Greek Souvlaki, providing an alternative to the shortage of Greek cuisine currently available.

“There is a distinct lack of Greek food on Cardiff’s food scene,” says Sophie Tumelty, part of the Meat and Greek team. “We hope that Meat and Greek will reinvigorate Cardiff’s love for authentic Greek food.”

Meat and Greek offer pork, chicken or halloumi options and, in true Greek style, very generous portion sizes. They are passionate about their food, great value and certainly worth looking out for.
