“Man v. Food” comes to Wales.

A restaurant in Cardiff attempts to emulate the popular American TV show Man V. Food.

The “Sizzle and Grill Steak House” has started offering customers a chance to get involved in competitive eating.

To the victor go the spoils; those who successfully eat their chosen dish within the hour do not have to pay for their meal. They also receive a free t-shirt and their picture is displayed on a hall of fame.

Those who are not successful in their bid to conquer the gigantic food proportions will have their picture displayed in a hall of shame.

Restaurant manager Paul Stevens has revealed that “So far, 550 people have attempted the 96 ounce steak challenge, yet only seven have completed it”.

Looks like the steaks are high.
