Man v. Food on the menu in Cardiff

It was announced last week that the former star of Man v. Food, Adam Richman, would be leaving the world of competitive eating to begin a new programme about little-known eateries, Eat Secrets.

But one Cardiff eatery proves that there is still a thriving market for eating challenges. Sizzle and Grill offers an entire menu of challenge dishes, including its 690z Mixed Grill. Although over 2000 people have attempted it, only seven have completed the meal within the hour provided.

The restaurant’s menu also includes challenges so hefty that no one has been successful in finishing them. Owner Paul Stevens comments, “The baby burger, which is the size of a small child, hasn’t been completed.”

Sizzle and Grill can be found at 185 Cowbridge Road East.
