Cardiff has been accused of lagging behind other cities when it comes to street food, but that seems to be changing.

Street Food Cardiff will be running its pop up event every weekend at The Depot on Dumballs Road until 31 December.

The soft launch, used to trial the event, left visitors with taste buds tingling, while the carefully thought out interior created a unique atmosphere. Craft beers, cocktails and bourbon were also available to help wash down the creative dishes on offer.

Tom Jacob, who attended the event said, “It wasn’t like anything I had been to before. The food was brilliant and the atmosphere was great.”

The food included interesting takes on Hot Dogs, Fried Chicken, Burgers, Pizza and Tapas. The event will officially launch on 31 October.
