In this land with many tales, the Cardiff castle is a quite haunted place which makes it a classical site to visit on Halloween.
The most famous tale of the haunted place is about the castle’s former owner, the second marquis of the Bute’s family. His ghost is often spotted in the castle. Looking forward to a haunted encounter? Visitors are allowed to venture through the wartime shelters this weekend to enter the secret part of the castle that is hardly open to the public.
But some ghost story lovers were disappointed. “We waited 20 minutes to enter the secret room and had some interactive games.” Chenlu Lei said, “I think they can use tales of the castle better and design some relevant unique activities, and then events will be more amusing.”
