Meowing art in Roath

The Sho Gallery in Roath beckons amateurs, and haters, of cats with its new jocular exhibition featuring whiskers, paws, bristle and purr. The venue was launched by a young couple Emily and Dan, who wanted to create an art-design-gallery-outlet fusion.

The gallery brings a breath of fresh air to the Roath community, as it is one of the youngest art focused businesses in Roath. “Me and Dan find this community friendly and quite arty. Moreover there is the annual Made in Roath art festival, which is a great catalyser for the venues.”

Emily admits that the current exhibition is almost fully created by Welsh artists. “We like to encourage and promote local artists, but we are not going to disqualify anyone who isn’t from Wales.”
