Warehouse des Refusés pop-up bar and exhibition

The Warehouse des Reuses

Warehouse des Refusés will host an exhibition of local artwork to end the Made In Roath Arts Festival 2013 this Thursday.

The Warehouse des Reuses

Warehouse des Refusés is inspired by the Salon des Refusés art movement of the 1800s.

Guests will sample hot mulled cider and popcorn, a walk-in cinema by Fotofringe and UV street art by Fatcap.

The free event is a collaboration between Milgi Lounge and local art movement Art in the Warehouse displaying artwork which is in some way rejected (refusé) by the mainstream.

Co-founder and local artist Rebecca Wyn Kelly said, “The ethos of the Salon des Refusés art movement runs through the event. It is a platform for young artists and gives them the freedom to get involved.”

The event runs from 6pm to 11pm behind Milgi.
