The Pear Tree is launching the first of a series of carol singing sessions on 3 December.

The café bar will be opening its doors to all want to soak up some Christmas atmosphere and festive singing every Monday at 8pm until Christmas Eve.

The first session is to be lead by Llandaff Cathedral and the choir will consist of a mix of music students from Cardiff University and the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama.

A seasonal menu with mulled cider, mulled wine, festive coffees and Christmas cakes will also be on offer.

Jon Murray, general manager, says, “This is the first year we’re hosting the carol singing sessions. We run live jazz sessions every month and wanted to do something a little different.”
