The unique Clarpie trademark can be found on every pie<\/p><\/div>\n

They’re not only one of Cardiff’s favourite bites but also one of the city’s most well-known brands. Clark’s Pies are stepping up production in\u00a0readiness\u00a0for the thousands of hungry sports fans\u00a0descending\u00a0on the city this weekend.<\/p>\n

“We will be making around 4,000 more pies this week,” said Fred Rosoman, Bakery Manager and great-great-grandson of Clark’s founder Mary Clark. That means 9,000 pies will be made at the same, small Grangetown premises that the pie dynasty has been using since 1955.<\/p>\n

As well as its renowned trademark, Clark’s can also be recognised by the unique standalone pastry meaning they require no foil to stay intact and can be eaten easily. Rosoman added, “It’s not just the taste, it\u2019s the tradition that makes them unique.”<\/p>\n
