Ty Hafan<\/em> \u2013 which supports life-limited children \u2013 have had a record of more than 60 runners this year; yet in general, \u201cthere hasn\u2019t been very much of a difference to the funds,\u201d says Gaynor Taylor, Community Fundraising Co-ordinator. \u201cThe difficulty is getting guaranteed places in these events.\u201d And she has a point: with so many charities to choose from, it seems to become more difficult for individual organisations to gain enough support.<\/p>\n

But are people donating less because of the crisis? As numbers for this year\u2019s run are still being calculated, we can only speculate: \u201cIn some instances, I think donors are donating less, as they have less to give.
