Photo: The Daily Telegraph<\/p><\/div>\n<p>This year has been fantastic for sport, and the shortlist for BBC Wales Sports Personality of the Year reflects this. The nominees this year include Olympians, Paralympians, Six Nations players and many more.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0As well as the main award, there is the Team of the Year award, the Carwyn James Award for Junior Sports Personalities and the Cymru Wales Lifetime Achievement Award.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0The BBC Wales Unsung Hero 2012 award was won by Arthur Wood of Swansea Rifle Club. A BBC spokesman said: \u201cHe has devoted many thousands of hours over a long period of time to help all who attend the club.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0The awards are to be held at the Wales Millennium Centre on 10 December.
