Fatneck and Redlox on Queen Street<\/p><\/div>\n

Harry Brunt, a saxophonist, believes that busking in Cardiff city centre compliments\u00a0his masters in jazz.<\/p>\n

Harry, 22, busks on Queen Street most Saturdays and collaborates with guitarist, Redlox. Harry explains that his MA, at The Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama<\/a>, teaches him to be a technical player but that busking develops his performance skills.<\/p>\n

Harry said, \u201cWhen you are out on the street, you have to get your own crowd. You\u2019ve got to be a big personality as a performer.\u201d<\/p>\n

Harry’s enthusiastic\u00a0performances have earned him the nickname Fatneck<\/a>, referring to the shape of his neck when he plays the saxophone. He said, \u201cI get my whole body into it, even if I look like an idiot!\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
