{"id":17534,"date":"2013-10-22T12:25:39","date_gmt":"2013-10-22T12:25:39","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.jomec.co.uk\/altcardiff\/?p=17534"},"modified":"2015-10-07T10:45:19","modified_gmt":"2015-10-07T10:45:19","slug":"warehouse-des-refuses-pop-up-bar-and-exhibition","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.jomec.co.uk\/altcardiff\/culture\/warehouse-des-refuses-pop-up-bar-and-exhibition","title":{"rendered":"Warehouse des Refus\u00e9s pop-up bar and exhibition"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Warehouse des Refus\u00e9s will host an exhibition of local artwork to end the <a title=\"Made In Roath Arts Festival\" href=\"http:\/\/madeinroath.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Made In Roath Arts Festival 2013<\/a>\u00a0this Thursday.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_17535\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\" style=\"width: 480px\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.jomec.co.uk\/altcardiff\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/10\/Warehouse1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-17535\" alt=\"The Warehouse des Reuses\" src=\"http:\/\/www.jomec.co.uk\/altcardiff\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/10\/Warehouse1.jpg\" width=\"480\" height=\"312\" \/><\/a><p class=\"wp-caption-text\">Warehouse des Refus\u00e9s is inspired by the Salon des Refus\u00e9s art movement of the 1800s.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Guests will sample hot mulled cider and popcorn, a walk-in cinema by <a title=\"Fotofringe Cardiff Tumblr\" href=\"http:\/\/fotofringe.tumblr.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Fotofringe<\/a> and UV street art by <a title=\"Fatcap Street Art\" href=\"http:\/\/www.fatcap.co.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\">Fatcap<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The free event is a collaboration between Milgi Lounge and local art movement Art in the Warehouse displaying artwork which is in some way rejected (<em>refus\u00e9) <\/em>by the mainstream.<\/p>\n<p>Co-founder and local artist Rebecca Wyn Kelly said, \u201cThe ethos of the Salon des Refus\u00e9s art movement runs through the event.
