Plaid Cymru have come out in opposition to recent proposals to change Cardiff\u2019s waste collection schemes.<\/p>\n
Councillor for the environment Ashley Govier (Labour) is currently holding a public constitution discussing potential solutions to the city\u2019s waste problems where, he says, nothing is off the table.<\/p>\n
However, Plaid Cymru have raised concerns over the plans, suggesting that they are merely a thinly veiled disguise for cuts.<\/p>\n
Plaid Cymru parliamentary candidate for Cardiff Central, Glenn Page, told alt.Cardiff on Saturday: \u201cThe \u2018one size doesn\u2019t fit all approach\u2019 is simply a voter-friendly term for cuts.\u201d<\/p>\n
He condemned the proposed changes, saying: \u201cIn the case of cleaning, the changes literally do stink.\u201d<\/p>\n
