On 21 November, Cardiff Castle<\/a> will hold a talk examining the city\u2019s nobility of the past.<\/p>\n

The lecture, given by castle curator Matthew Williams, is entitled \u2018Cardiff recognises true nobility,\u2019 and will focus on the Third Marquess of Bute.<\/p>\n

The lecture was first held last year at the Mansion House in a bid to raise public awareness of the building. It was well received and Matthew Williams said, \u201cThe lecture was popular therefore it seemed sensible to repeat it.\u201d<\/p>\n

The aim will be to examine the Marquess\u2019 mayoral year after he was invited by the capital to adopt the position in 1890.<\/p>\n

The talk, starting at 6pm, is part of a lecture series held by guest speakers at the castle on a variety of topics.<\/p>\n
