Following a previous week\u2019s article on Castle Quarter Market\u2019s possible closure, the question of how important these farmers\u2019 markets are to the local community was put to a variety of people.<\/p>\n

Many think of the markets as an essential pillar in supporting not only local produce and the local economy, but also the local community as a whole.
