{"id":19367,"date":"2013-11-19T14:36:51","date_gmt":"2013-11-19T14:36:51","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.jomec.co.uk\/altcardiff\/?p=19367"},"modified":"2015-10-07T10:44:58","modified_gmt":"2015-10-07T10:44:58","slug":"pop-up-gallery-marks-last-forum-of-2013","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.jomec.co.uk\/altcardiff\/culture\/pop-up-gallery-marks-last-forum-of-2013","title":{"rendered":"Pop-up gallery marks last FORUM"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"attachment_19471\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\" style=\"width: 416px\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.jomec.co.uk\/altcardiff\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/artforum.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-19471  \" alt=\"artforum\" src=\"http:\/\/www.jomec.co.uk\/altcardiff\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/artforum-416x312.jpg\" width=\"416\" height=\"312\" \/><\/a><p class=\"wp-caption-text\">FORUM&#8217;s pop-up exhibition invites artists to exhibit unfinished and new pieces<br \/>(Photo provided by <a title=\"WARP\" href=\"http:\/\/www.g39.org\/warp\/\">WARP<\/a>)<\/p><\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>A pop-up exhibition will follow <a title=\"Ffotogallery FORUM\" href=\"http:\/\/ffotogallery-forum.blogspot.co.uk\/\">FORUM\u2019s <\/a>final open discussion of the year, on 28 November, at the <a title=\"Chapter \" href=\"http:\/\/www.chapter.org\/\">Chapter Arts Centre<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>FORUM, which began in 2009, is an informal monthly event for budding and early career artists.\u00a0This finale will be led by guest curator\u00a0<a title=\"Cat Gardiner twitter\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/catgardiner\">Cat Gardiner<\/a>\u00a0and artists <a title=\"The Kickplate Project\" href=\"http:\/\/thekickplateproject.blogspot.co.uk\/\">Dafydd Williams and Zosia Krasnowolska.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The event co-ordinator, Bob Gelsthorpe, describes the open event as: \u201ca platform for practitioners to exchange ideas, experience and opinions on visual culture.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Each month FORUM invites artists to showcase new pieces of art that relate to the month\u2019s theme; offering the chance for feedback and discussion.
