In the midst of stuffing season a festive fitness boot camp called Smash the Fat is helping women trade in their sweaters for spandex.<\/p>\n

Smash the Fat is often performed outside, using nature as an obstacle course<\/p><\/div>\n

This year, 16 clients with burning ambition have enrolled in Smash the Fat<\/a>, a community workout invented in 2010 by personal trainer Sian Thomas<\/a>. The programme consists of a month long camp, where gentle exercises and a sense of communal fun make for a jolly good time.<\/p>\n

\"jump200\"<\/a>\u201cSome of my members fear this time of year as they know there is so much temptation around \u2013 like mince pies, cake and chocolate,\u201d says Sian.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe programme is a great way of keeping on track and staying motivated with friends,\u201d she remarks.<\/p>\n

\u201cFundamentally, it is about enjoying your life in a positive environment.\u201d<\/p>\n
