Sheffield United football club have denied offering the player a new contract but refused to rule out signing him again.<\/p>\n<p>Ched Evans, 25, has claimed his innocence, despite being found guilty of rape and spending two and a half years in prison. Evans has referred to the rape as an \u2018act of infidelity\u2019 and publicly apologised to his girlfriend.<\/p>\n<p>He has showed no remorse to his victim who has been publicly named online by trolls.
