The arts in Wales face big cuts<\/p><\/div>\n<p>The Welsh government has recently announced further reductions to the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.artswales.org.uk\/\">Arts Council of Wales<\/a>\u00a0(AWC) budget. As well as this period\u2019s mid-year cut of \u00a3300k, AWC\u2019s 2015\/16 budget is to decrease by around \u00a3950k.<\/p>\n<p>Resultantly, AWC has reportedly indicated that it\u2019s highly likely that it will have to trim its portfolio, with a greater reliance on income generation.
