To recognise the hard work that many people put into the community, Communites First have been asking residents from Adamsdown<\/a>, Splott, Tremorfa and Plasnewydd to nominate local heroes.<\/p>\n

The award categories are split into Health and Wellbeing, Education and Training, Environment, Active Community, Strengthening Communities and Community Worker.<\/p>\n

Although the deadline has passed for nominations, the event on 8 December promises to be full of entertainment and Christmas cheer. It will be a time to acknowledge those who give up their time freely for the benefit of the wider community.<\/p>\n
