{"id":27731,"date":"2015-11-04T10:14:38","date_gmt":"2015-11-04T10:14:38","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.jomec.co.uk\/altcardiff\/?p=27731"},"modified":"2015-11-11T12:35:36","modified_gmt":"2015-11-11T12:35:36","slug":"a-festival-for-the-footloose","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.jomec.co.uk\/altcardiff\/active\/a-festival-for-the-footloose","title":{"rendered":"A festival for the footloose"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Enthusiasts best lace up their dancing shoes for the biennial Cardiff Dance Festival, which will take place at venues across Cardiff from 10 \u2013 22 November.<\/p>\n<p>Tapping into the rich dance culture in Cardiff, the festival will feature programmes by leading dance and theatre companies in Wales, in addition to a repertoire of international talent.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_27748\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\" style=\"width: 480px\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.jomec.co.uk\/altcardiff\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/Resized_DawnsYsbrydionkirstenmcternan209-2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-large wp-image-27748\" src=\"http:\/\/www.jomec.co.uk\/altcardiff\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/Resized_DawnsYsbrydionkirstenmcternan209-2-480x220.jpg\" alt=\"dance, festival, performance\" width=\"480\" height=\"220\" \/><\/a><p class=\"wp-caption-text\"><em>Ghost Dance<\/em> by Theatr Genedlaethol Cymru, where an all-female cast explores the fate of the drowned Welsh village of Capel Celyn<\/p><\/div>\n<p>While there\u2019s plenty to watch, there\u2019s also plenty to learn.
