{"id":28249,"date":"2015-11-12T17:07:49","date_gmt":"2015-11-12T17:07:49","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.jomec.co.uk\/altcardiff\/?p=28249"},"modified":"2016-10-17T16:10:44","modified_gmt":"2016-10-17T16:10:44","slug":"council-praised-for-ball-in-the-wall-success","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.jomec.co.uk\/altcardiff\/no-logo\/council-praised-for-ball-in-the-wall-success","title":{"rendered":"Council praised for Ball in the Wall success"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The team behind Cardiff Castle&#8217;s Ball in the Wall says the idea came from having previously built a positive relationship with the city&#8217;s council.<\/p>\n<p>The Rugby World Cup attraction, erected in secret by Cardiff company <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wild-creations.co.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\">Wild Creations<\/a> at the beginning of the tournament, extended its stay past the original three week\u00a0deadline.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_28429\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\" style=\"width: 220px\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.jomec.co.uk\/altcardiff\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/JS75806584-copy.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-28429\" src=\"http:\/\/www.jomec.co.uk\/altcardiff\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/JS75806584-copy.jpg\" alt=\"The ball after being removed from Cardiff Castle. \" width=\"220\" height=\"220\" \/><\/a><p class=\"wp-caption-text\">The ball after being removed from Cardiff Castle.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Ryan Evans, project manager for the Ball, says the idea to create it, and the decision to keep it on, thanked\u00a0Cardiff Council for their involvement. &#8220;When the host cities were announced, each council was tasked to find a spectacular attraction for the city,&#8221; Evans explains. &#8220;The council got on to us.
