Tenovus Cancer Care <\/a>will hold a Kilimanjaro trek information event at The Cardiff Brewery on Crawshay Street on Thursday 19 November.<\/p>\n

The charity is searching for volunteers to scale the 5895 km tall mountain on November 2016 to raise money.<\/p>\n

The snow capped peak of Kilimanjaro is almost 6000 metres above sea level<\/p><\/div>\n

Georgina Williams, community and events team administrator for the charity said, \u201cThe event will include a few speakers. We\u2019ve managed to get in touch with people who have either climbed Kilimanjaro before or done similar events.\u201d<\/p>\n

The money raised from the event will go towards the charity\u2019s mobile units.<\/p>\n

\u201cOur fantastic mobile units go out into the community itself to deliver chemotherapy and other treatments, which means they\u2019re taking waiting times off people,\u201d said Georgina.<\/p>\n
