Art and music festival returns to Hay with diverse bill<\/h2>\n

The art and music extravaganza, Crunch, will return to Hay-on-Wye, offering the perfect remedy for winter blues and festival withdrawal symptoms.<\/p>\n

Crunch runs between November 18-20 and will feature an eclectic mix of emerging talent, including next big thing Mara Carlyle, Cardiff pop-folk artist Si\u00f4n Russell Jones and Mercury-nominated British Sea Party.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The festival\u2019s organised by The Institute of Art and Ideas. \u201cIt was originally just visual arts but we wanted to broaden the remit,\u201d explained Bianca Bonomi of IAI. Now in its fourth year, it\u2019s predicted to attract 4,000 people.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

Many performances will\u00a0take place in The Globe, a converted Methodist chapel. Bianca said, \u201cIt\u2019s nice to just strip it back and have that interaction with\u00a0people.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cNovember\u2019s a dead time so it\u2019s nice to give people a focus.\u201d\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
