Sugar Ray\u2019s, which officially opened last month and has been serving food for just over a week, offers a simple menu with options made from high quality ingredients.<\/span><\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_33555\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\" style=\"width: 480px\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.jomec.co.uk\/altcardiff\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/Food_8_Leion_Big_EE.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-33555\" src=\"http:\/\/www.jomec.co.uk\/altcardiff\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/Food_8_Leion_Big_EE.jpg\" alt=\"The man in charge-Sugar Ray's owner, Leion Attard\" width=\"480\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><p class=\"wp-caption-text\">The man in charge-Sugar Ray&#8217;s owner, Leion Attard<\/p><\/div>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Owner Leion Attard, 38, wanted to ensure his menu incorporated the best ingredients and products that he could find in Cardiff and its surrounding areas. \u201cYou can\u2019t just have a chocolate brownie\u201d, he says, \u201cyou\u2019ve got to have the best chocolate brownie. So I started looking around in the local area for the best chocolate brownie and found it.\u201d This sweet treat was discovered at the Cup and Cake Bakery, based in Cardiff, which now supplies Sugar Ray\u2019s with an array of baked goods.<\/span><\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_33557\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\" style=\"width: 480px\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.jomec.co.uk\/altcardiff\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/Food_8_Burger_Big_EE.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-33557\" src=\"http:\/\/www.jomec.co.uk\/altcardiff\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/Food_8_Burger_Big_EE.jpg\" alt=\"Award-winning burgers from Moody Sow farm shop\" width=\"480\" height=\"301\" \/><\/a><p class=\"wp-caption-text\">Award-winning burgers from Moody Sow farm shop<\/p><\/div>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The cuisine available at this charming caf\u00e9 extends to hearty savoury meals too. Diners can tuck into the \u201cbest\u201d burgers, the stars of which are award-winning patties from the Moody Sow farm shop in Cefn Mably Farm Park. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In distinguishing itself from its competitors, Sugar Ray\u2019s also offers food from across the pond. Diners can sample poutine, Canada\u2019s national dish, with a unique twist. Food blogger Ed Gilbert says: \u201c<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Their poutine saw crisp and fluffy chips drenched in a slightly underpowered chicken gravy and a good scattering of oozy mozzarella and cheddar.
