Sound It Out<\/em> will be screened\u00a0at Chapter Arts Centre on November 20, and tells the story of one Northern community and its complicated relationship with records.<\/p>\n

In the past five years, one record shop has closed every three days in the UK.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The screening will be followed by a Q&A with director Jeanie Finlay and Spillers Records<\/a> owner Ashli Todd.<\/p>\n

Marcus Lawry of Soundtrack Film Festival said, \u201cThe slow death of the independent record shop is one of the true cultural tragedies of the digital age, and is an issue close to many people\u2019s hearts, especially in Cardiff.\u00a0<\/p>\n
