From dairy-free ice cream to raw chocolate, Cardiff\u2019s Ab Fab Vegan Winter Wonderland is returning to Depot with brand new stalls<\/h2>\n

A taste of Christmas in the form of Goupie’s raw chocolate is coming to Cardiff<\/p><\/div>\n

Vegan festival\u00a0Absolutely Fabulous Winter Wonderland<\/a>\u00a0is returning for its 4th year following the success of its one-day event in 2016.<\/p>\n

The festival will fill Depot<\/a> with tasty, Christmas inspired treats once again on 3 December 2017. The event will run from 11am until 5pm.<\/p>\n

Ab Fab has been created by the independent business Absolutely Fabulous Vegan Fayres<\/a> which has been running for six years.<\/p>\n

The festival combines an Alice in Wonderland<\/em> theme with Christmas which is set to create a magical occasion.<\/p>\n

Owner of Ab Fab Vegan Fayres, 66-year-old Sue Thomas, explained she has been vegan for 11 years.<\/p>\n

She says she is passionate about vegan food because she feels strongly about animal welfare and also believes in the health benefits of following a vegan diet. This enthusiasm led her to start running vegan events for a living.<\/p>\n

Everyone is encouraged to attend the festival this December and she describes the Depot venue’s twinkly trees as “wonderful”.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhy not come along and have a look,\u201d she added, \u201cthere is everything you could want under one roof.\u201d<\/p>\n

Cardiff’s Simply V is returning to Ab Fab Winter Wonderland for another year<\/p><\/div>\n

Local vegan stockists such as Simply V<\/a> and Spanish Complutum Food will be attending as well as Ice Green<\/a> who specialise in dairy-free ice cream.<\/p>\n

New for this year are vegan bakery Eat Petite<\/a>, from Penarth, and 100% natural herbs and spices company Herbes et Epices from France.<\/p>\n

Candy canes are the ultimate Christmas treat<\/p><\/div>\n

Five different cake stalls will also be there.<\/p>\n

Simply V owner, Spencer John, explained they will be selling new vegan products for Christmas including candy canes at \u00a31.39 each and Goupie\u2019s chocolates at \u00a34.75 each.<\/p>\n

He said: \u201cIt is a great place to see a lot of vegan businesses in one place.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s good to have vegan events in Cardiff,\u201d he added, \u201cit pulls the vegan community together and shows there is a big market for it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Admission for adults is \u00a31. A free kids corner is also available.<\/p>\n
