The annual Cardiff Santa Jog returns this year for more festive fun. The run through Bute Park, organised by the British Heart Foundation, helps raise awareness and\u00a0vital funds for the charity.<\/p>\n

Promoting the serious message of saving lives, organiser Hannah Townsend says events such as the run help raise awareness of heart disease, enabling the BHF to continue their fight against the UK\u2019s biggest killer.<\/p>\n

Hannah says, \u201cThe event has been a huge success for us with over 1000 Santa\u2019s taking part helping to raise \u00a320,000 last year, we hope that this year will be even bigger and better.\u201d<\/p>\n

With numbers looking promising for the upcoming run, she added, \u201cIt\u2019s clear that Cardiff is already getting into the festive spirit in a big way.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
