The former Dirty Sanchez<\/em> star sat down with Guise Magazine to talk about life post-Sanchez and his next vegan cookbook<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Matthew Pritchard\u2019s second book, Dirty <\/a>Vegan<\/a>: Another Bite<\/a><\/em>, will be on bookshelves from 12 December. His accompanying television series returns to BBC One Wales in January. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dirty Vegan 2 <\/em>is set to include a variety of new vegan recipes showcasing Matt\u2019s wicked personality. Waitrose Magazine <\/em>calls the recipes universally appealing, “hearty, casually presented and flavour-packed.” <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Although starting out as a professional skateboarder, Matt, from Cardiff, made a name for himself with Dirty Sanchez<\/em>, a television series where he and three friends participated in dangerous stunts and pranks. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Undergoing somewhat of a transformation, ditching the hedonism and drugs, he now seeks thrills in endurance athletics and a super-clean vegan diet. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Matt opened up to Guise Magazine<\/em> at his barber shop in Cardiff, Sleep When You\u2019re Dead (SWYD<\/a>), which he regards as a communal place where men often surprisingly open up and offload.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Guise Magazine <\/em>is a brand new well-being magazine for men that focuses on mental health, created by a group of trainee journalists at Cardiff University.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In his interview with Guise<\/em>, he talked about his struggles with mental health, brought on by heavy drug-use synonymous with Sanchez,<\/em> \u201cDoing that for so many years on the trot slowly and surely catches up with you. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI realised I\u2019d been living in a dream for ten years, you could just see it all slipping away. It was a hard pill to swallow,\u201d he admitted. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Matt also explained the benefits of exercising and how he finds it the best thing for his mental health, \u201cNow whenever I\u2019m feeling down, I know what will fix me and that will be going for a run.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As well as an interview with Matt, the magazine covers many aspects of well-being and mental health, including how to talk to a friend who may be struggling and how to take care of yourself in simple ways at home, with quick healthy recipes and exercises. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
