Victorious pair already planning next triumph<\/h2>\n

Carmarthen co-driver Gareth Roberts partnered his Irish team mate Craig Breen to win the first World Rally Competition (WRC) Academy Cup at Wales Rally GB on the weekend.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is the best thing that has happened in my rallying career yet,\u201d said 24-year-old Roberts.<\/p>\n

The Academy Cup<\/a>\u00a0is a competition to find new young talent among aspiring rally drivers.<\/p>\n

The \u20ac500,000 prize was awarded to Craig Breen to spend on developing his career in 2012 as he beat his Estonian rival, Egon Kaur, on fastest stage times.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m a young guy that has got big aspirations and unfortunately I won\u2019t do anything but do my best. I want to win,\u201d said Breen as he revealed determined plans to go with his co-driver to Monte Carlo <\/a>WRC next and win there.<\/p>\n
