Anand George, an award winning chef, is opening Purple Poppadom, a restaurant that will create nouvelle Indian cuisine.<\/p>\n
Purple Poppadom will open in the first week of December in Cowbridge Road East, Canton bringing with it the style of London, says Anand.<\/p>\n
We are looking to create a restaurant that has the same delicious food and ambience of the capital city, Anand explains.<\/p>\n
Anand has run restaurants in Cardiff previously and believes the city needs something different and wants to create innovative dishes.<\/p>\n
He says, \u201cIt\u2019s all about the ingredients. Normally a lot of people try to use spices when you can\u2019t; this restaurant is all about a refined, succulent flavour, using spices to compliment rather than overpower the taste buds.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
