A new rap battle event is starting in Cardiff this weekend to serve the city\u2019s vibrant hip-hop community.<\/p>\n

The battles will commence on Saturday 26 November at new underground club 48 Below in the city centre. Organiser Epic Bars have billed the event as the first live rap battle in Cardiff and said it would be first of many. Cardiff-based rapper and world record holder for longest rap Ruffstylz will headline the event.<\/p>\n

The Cardiff rap scene has taken off in recent years. Ruffstylz said, \u201cThere’s a golden era feel in Cardiff right now. I wouldn\u2019t wanna live anywhere else.\u201d<\/p>\n

There will also be hip-hop performances, DJ sets and beatbox battles. The event will be filmed and uploaded on YouTube.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
