Funny woman Bridget Christie is bringing her award-winning show to the Chapter Arts Centre<\/a> this month.<\/p>\n

Fresh from a successful stint at this year\u2019s Edinburgh Festival Fringe, Housewife Surrealist will let audiences into Bridget\u2019s mind as she discusses all things religion.<\/p>\n

From recalling her Irish Catholic upbringing to her views on transubstantiation, the comedienne will perform her set on 15 December, complete with a recreation of the Ascension.<\/p>\n

Bridget won the Funny Women Best Show Fringe Award 2007 and is a regular panellist on Radio 4\u2019s News Quiz and the Broadcasting House Programme.<\/p>\n

Henry Widdicombe, promoter of the event, says, \u201cWe approached Bridget to see if she would be interested in bringing her Edinburgh show to Chapter as part of a series of events showcasing what we felt were the best alternative comedy Edinburgh shows around.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
