A new dance squad for over 17\u2019s is being put together by 2 Step Dance Academy in conjunction with a government scheme to help people keep fit.<\/p>\n

Sport Cardiff<\/a>\u00a0are running a new 5X60<\/em> scheme which encourages people to exercise for 60 minutes 5 times a week. The high demand for dance from this scheme has led to the creation of a new squad.<\/p>\n

Director of 2 Step, Maria Katzi, said, “This academy will be used to inspire young people of Cardiff and South Wales to take part in dance sessions through the Sport Cardiff 5×60<\/em> scheme and then into community dance clubs.”\u00a0<\/p>\n

Auditions were last weekend, but sweep up sessions for those who missed the auditions will be held over the next few weeks.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
