Cardiff annual Santa Jog was held by British Heart Foundation on 9 December around Bute Park. More than 800 runners wearing full Santa’ costumes took part in the event.
This year’s event starts and finishes in Cardiff Castle, following a five kilometer long routine of Bute Park. There is no age limit at this festive fun run. People from all ages walk, jog or run for the purpose of raising money for the people suffering from heart disease. Last year’s Santa Jog raised £30,000. This year, the figure is expected a bit higher as the participant number is larger.
Delyth Lloyd from the British Heart Foundation said:” heart disease is Wales’ biggest killer so all the sponsorship we collect now really does make a huge difference.”
