Daniel Porter has submitted a plan for his new bar which can showcase plays, comedy, cabaret, cinema, and live music in Cardiff city centre to Cardiff Council.
He has applied for a premises licence for the new venture, which will be known as Porter’s and seeks permission to sell alcohol, offer regulated entertainment and late night refreshment.
Mr Porter said the bar would have a small stage area for performances, a space for functions and one screen cinema room to watch films.
“This bar however will not be a disco or nightclub, neither will it ostensibly be a live music venue. It will use artistic activity to generate character, warmth and charm.” He said. ” The bar will suit anyone who wants something different.”
