This Halloween for the first time, tattoo artists from the UK and worldwide are flocking to the Coal Exchange for this tattoo convention.

The event organiser Mac McCarthy describes the convention: “It’s like walking into a tattoo studio that has 80 working artists, where you can chat to an artist, choose a design and negotiate a price.”

The weekend also consists of art competitions followed by an award ceremony, entertainment, food, music and an after-party. One-off art pieces are also being auctioned off to raise money for a local children’s hospice – Tŷ Hafan and some of the tattoo proceeds will be given away to a local cancer care centre Velindre.

So why not come along, get inked and raise money for charity!
