The sizzling Texas trio Hot Club of Cowtown is performing in Cardiff on 15 November
Hot Club of Cowtown’s concert is a real refreshment among this month’s international events in Cardiff. Quite out of the musical mainstream, this delicious blend of hot jazz and Western swing will warm up the cockles of your heart.
Their last album What Makes Bob Holler recorded in England in 2010 brings 14 songs of American Western swing icon Bob Wills performed with unmistakeable Hot Club’s style.
Jaunty fiddle, hot electric guitar and amazing bass accompanied by three-part harmony vocals come together to ensure a high-energy music show.
On UK tour this autumn, the trio is really happy to perform in Cardiff.
“I love Wales,” said fiddler Elana James, “it’s one of my most favourite places in the world.”
Concert on 15 November 2011 at 8 p.m. in St Davids Hall
